The Foundation’s primary objective is to support all young strivers in creative professional fields.  

The main fields of fine arts are Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Conceptual art, Printmaking, Architecture, Pottery, Music, Dance, Interior Design, and Drama.  However, we would also support other fields of education.

The foundation aims to encourage and promote the fundamental role played by the young contemporary artists excelling in above mentioned specializations. We will support the exchange programs and artist in residency programs within India and abroad.

Our choice to focus on contemporary art stems from a desire to stimulate creative thought process between artists living in India and other countries through the inter-exchange of artists’ creations.

Foundation aims to support the establishment of the contemporary artists who are at the beginning of their profession.  It is hoped that this key objective, will offer the artist an overview of all the visual arts like painting, sculpture, photography, and performance arts. The Foundation will strongly support its aim in implementing continuous series of artist exchange programs and artist residencies, exhibitions, performances, conferences. It will also encourage live debates between artists, curators and critics.

The main purpose of our foundation is to contribute towards reasserting Delhi, the capital city of India, as a significant center of artistic and cultural production and exchange and binding these activities into the international circuit by creating strong bonds of collaboration between artists living in India and abroad. 

Within the broad scope of contemporary art, the aim is to discover, promote, and add value to youth and those with hidden talents. The foundation will help them produce and exhibit their art projects.

Fundamental to the Foundation’s attainment of its objectives will be its significant exchanges and collaborations with other national and international cultural associations, foundations, galleries, museums, and academies of art. Through its support, MOTHADAKA FOUNDATION proposes to help the young contemporary artists to explore novel and creative concepts.
